I like to wander but have a difficult time just sitting. I need to keep my hands busy if I am going to stay in one spot for a little while. So why not paint a few sticks. This trip the dock was my rest spot of choice.
These sticks were collected in the trails while on a walk with Mum and the dogs.

Bright moon, blue sky
I made sure to pack my telescope on this trip north.
Unfortunate, the moon has been setting before it is fully dark out and I have missed every opportunity to view it. Today I thought ahead and put my telescope to use before both the sun and the moon had a chance to set and disappear for the night. Looking at the moon on a dark night is quite magical but there is something pretty special about seeing it in detail, surrounded by blue sky.
